Q: Are there special programs for Stagettes/Bachelorettes or bridal
showers?
A: Your experienced representative will be able
to customize a package that works for you! Remember – these
are fun events and fantasia consultants love what they do – so
challenge them with your needs and the sky is the limit! Fantasia
Parties can be made to order as theme nights, game nights, and
we can organize draws and prizes for your guests. Customize your
Fantasia Party however you like!
Q: What do I need to do to prepare my home for
a Fantasia Party?
A: Very little. Arrange comfortable seating for your guest in a
semi-circle, so that they can pass the samples easily and everyone
has a clear view of the presentation. Set aside a private room
with a closed door for purchases at the end of the night.
Q: Should I provide food during the Fantasia Party?
A: Not the best idea! Food interferes with your
guests ability to taste and smell some of the products, like edible
lubricants and massage oils, etc. Also – you don’t
want people licking their fingers while we are passing
toys around the room!
Q: Can I serve alcohol during the Fantasia Party?
A: You can, however, It is recommended that you
make sure everyone has a fresh drink at the beginning of the presentation,
If people are constantly getting up to refresh drinks, then the
whole process takes longer and people are more likely to leave
early, pay less attention, and shop effectively at the end of the
night. There is usually an intermission halfway through the presentation,
so plan to refresh drinks then.
Q: When will my guests receive their
purchases?
A: Immediately! Each guest will leave the Fantasia
Party with his/her purchases. Make sure your guests know to bring
cash or credit to pay for their purchases after the presentation.
We call it “Pay tonight – Play tonight!” in the
business… Should
a particular item be out of stock, you can choose to have the item
delivered to you within 10 business days. In the event that this
happens, there will be no charge for shipping, and your purchase
will arrive in a discreet package.
Q: What about Gay Fantasia Parties?
A: Of course! Almost all of the products available
to women will be of interest to gay men! Do a bit of research online
before hosting your event in case you find a particular product
of interest that you wish to request, otherwise, feel confident
that your guests will find something of interest – they always
do!
Q: Can I invite men to my Fantasia party?
A: You can invite whomever you choose! It’s
up to you to decide what the theme of your night will be: ladies
only, mixed couples, men only. Most Fantasia Consultants are prepared
for whatever type of event you choose to host. However, some prefer
not to do mixed couples events.
Q: Are men available as Fantasia Party Consultants?
A: Yes. There are a growing number of men (mostly
gay!) who are offering their services. Having a man host your Fantasia
Parties is a different and exciting opportunity for “all
women” Fantasia
Parties, or “mixed couples” Fantasia Parties.
Q: How
far in advance should I book my Fantasia Party?
A: Sooner is better! Fridays and Saturdays book
first, so if you are planning one of these nights, book well in
advance with you hostess/sales rep. Mixed couples parties usually
prefer these nights, so they go fast! Most of the year, weekends
are booked two months in advance. The weekends that bookend Valentine’s
Day get booked up to a year in advance, so make your plans now
for next year!
Q: What is the best day of the week to plan a Fantasia
Party?
A: Week nights are the best! Generally, people
are more available during the week and least likely to flake out,
change plans, or be rushed to leave early. Also, guests tend to
be less rambunctious during the week, which means they will be
more attentive, which makes the presentation go faster, and guests
more likely to purchase.
Q: What time of day is the best to start
my Fantasia Party?
A: 7:00-7:30 is a good start time. This gives
people enough time not to feel rushed to get home for work the
next day. Sales will be better if your guests aren’t feeling
crunched for time.
Q: What about booking on long weekends and holidays?
A: Avoid booking at these times. The potential
for last minute cancellations is much higher. People typically
travel and do family oriented activities at these times.
Q: What
will it cost me to host a Fantasia Party in my home?
A: No cost to you! There is no fee for requesting
a professional Hostess to put on a Fantasia Party in your home.
There is no deposit required, or minimum purchase level. In fact,
the Hostess will be rewarding you for putting on the event! When
sales reach a certain level, you can earn free gifts as your bonus,
and regardless, just for hosting the occasion, you will get 10%
OFF all of your purchases.
Q: How long does a Fantasia Party usually
take?
A: Typically, the whole event takes at least 1.5-2hrs,
and sometimes up to 4 hours. This depends on your guests and how
much time they choose to spend asking questions and exploring the
products. During the first half of the Fantasia Party, your hostess
will introduce and demonstrate (as much as is possible!) each product,
allowing your guests to touch, taste, and feel each item. Your
Hostess will explain how each toy works, what it is made of, and
how best to use. The second half of the evening is set aside for
shopping. Each person usually spends 10–15 minutes selecting their
purchases, in the privacy of a closed room, away from the other
guests. So, multiply the number of guests x fifteen minutes to
get a rough estimate for shopping time.
